Bare Necessities is my breakthrough series after taking a hiatus during the pandemic. The pandemic brought up some mixed emotions and anxiety, in which I turned to painting to be the calm in the storm. This series is inspired by the realization that all you need is right at home. The neutral tones and subtle textures are to bring about a sense of calm and peace. This series incorporates multiple painting techniques with a hint of mixed media. I hope to bring tranquility into your homes with these pieces.
